Project - Changing the Financial Year End in the ERP

The company was working to bring all of the Year End dates in the ERP's for each of the locations to that of a calendar year, reducing overheads at head office and helping ensure uniformity of the information presented via the Global Data Warehouse.

I sourced procedures to change the year end from the support area of our ERP provider's website and modified them per our needs.  After having them approved by our ERP provider, I worked with Accounting to test the procedures.

Following my custom procedures, the Accounting Department was able to close the period and then successfully change the fiscal year end without any assistance.
